• Keep a reserve separate from purchase funds. Mark items as Planned, Purchased, Considering or On hold. Purchased items use their actual total instead of their estimate; Considering and On hold items are excluded.

• An overview flags when you are over budget or purchase rows need attention. Optional category allocations help you compare spending across seating, rugs, lighting and other categories.

How it works

1. Download and unzip the customer bundle. Choose the planner PDF that matches your paper, or annotate it in your own compatible PDF app.

2. Open the XLSX file in desktop Excel. Save a working copy, then enter your room name, currency label, budget and reserve on START HERE.

3. Add purchases in the amber input cells. Use Planned for intended purchases and Purchased when you can enter the complete actual cost.

4. Review OVERVIEW before adding another piece. Keep formula cells unchanged. The workbook is not password-locked.
